The cornerstone of rebuilding wildlife habitats

Mopani Nursery, located in Lubangwe, Zimbabwe, is an initiative dedicated to promoting sustainable land use and conservation practices. Founded in response to the widespread felling of Mopani trees for charcoal production, the nursery aims to restore deforested areas and promote eco-friendly practices, through nursing mainly indigenous trees for reforestation purposes
.
I have always been a lover of nature, so it did not take me long long to realise that the reforestation program run by the community needed a reliable source of tree seedlings.
Water remains a challenge for us, however we are committed to growing at least a 1000 trees annually
Sothile Ndiweni: Nursery Founder
